Stack-based buffer overflow in BehaviorTree.CPP 4.0 through 4.7.0 allows local users to crash an integrating application with crafted script input. ParseScript and ValidateScript direct unbounded parser diagnostics into fixed 2,048-byte stack buffers rather than dynamically growing strings. Exploitation requires local access to supply a malformed behavior-tree script; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash.
