CVE-2025-11009

Credential disclosure via plaintext project-file storage

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Cleartext credential storage in GT Designer3 Version1 (GOT1000 and GOT2000) all versions allows local users to read credentials from project files. The software stores and verifies user-authentication credentials as plaintext inside a project file rather than protecting them cryptographically. Access to a project file containing configured credentials is required; recovered credentials permit unauthorized operation of the associated GOT1000 or GOT2000 HMI.
