Subscriber-level stored XSS via unchecked template save
Published Nov 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 21, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in UiPress Lite 3.5.08 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript into UI templates. The uip_save_ui_template AJAX handler saves attacker-supplied template content without verifying that the caller has the required capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the stored script runs when an affected template is viewed, enabling actions or data access in the viewer's WordPress session.
