Authenticated command execution via DMZ parameter

Command injection in Wavlink WL-NU516U1 M16U1_V240425 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands via dmz_flag. The firewall.cgi DMZ handler passes the POST-supplied dmz_flag value through sprintf and sub_402C98 into system without neutralizing shell metacharacters. A valid session cookie and selection of the DMZ firewall mode reach the vulnerable path, granting command execution on the appliance.
