Remote code execution via cloudpickle deserialization
Published Sep 25, 2025 · Updated Sep 25, 2025
Deserialization in ML-Logger 0.10.36 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted logging request. The log_handler function passes base64-decoded request data to cloudpickle.loads without validating the serialized object. Remote reachability requires a non-default external bind; the exposed POST endpoint has no implemented JWT access control.
