Unauthenticated access bypass via spoofed client IP
Published Oct 29, 2025 · Updated Oct 29, 2025
Access bypass in Drupal Reverse Proxy Header before 1.1.2 allows remote attackers to spoof the client IP through a crafted HTTP header. The module's request handling replaces Drupal's client IP with the configured header value without consistently enforcing configured trusted-proxy addresses. Exposure requires reverse_proxy enabled, reverse_proxy_header set, and reverse_proxy_addresses configured, and the false address can bypass IP-based controls.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
