Account access via access-code uniqueness oracle
Published Oct 29, 2025 · Updated Oct 29, 2025
Access bypass in Drupal Access code before 2.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to discover other users' access codes via form feedback. The access-code edit form enforces uniqueness by revealing when a user-selected code is already assigned, turning validation feedback into an account-code oracle. Exploitation requires the change own access code permission and permits repeated guessing that can expose codes used to sign in as other users.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
