Subscriber-level log disclosure via missing capability check
Published Oct 24, 2025 · Updated Oct 24, 2025
Missing authorization in Originality.ai AI Checker 1.0.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read stored scan-log data. The ai_get_table function performs no capability check before returning every row from the wp_originalityai_log table, including post titles, scan scores, and credit usage. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the disclosed impact is limited to the confidentiality of stored scan records.
