Code execution via MODEL parser out-of-bounds write
Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Autodesk Shared Components 2026.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a crafted MODEL file. The MODEL parser fails to validate user-supplied data before writing past the end of an allocated object. A user must visit a malicious page or open the file; successful exploitation runs code in the current process, while failed attempts can crash it or corrupt data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
