Code execution via malformed CATPART parsing
Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025
Memory corruption in Autodesk Shared Components before 2026.5 allows attackers to execute code by opening a crafted CATPART file. The shared CATPART parser mishandles attacker-controlled file data, but Autodesk has not disclosed the affected function or exact corrupting operation. A user must open or import the file in a relying Autodesk 2026 product; execution occurs with the privileges of that host process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
