Code execution via crafted MODEL file parsing
Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025
Memory corruption in Autodesk Shared Components 2026.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a crafted MODEL file is opened. Autodesk identifies the flaw only as memory corruption during MODEL parsing and has not published the affected parser routine or unsafe operation. Successful exploitation requires a local user to open the file in a host Autodesk product and runs code in that product's current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
