Code execution via CATPART parser out-of-bounds write
Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Autodesk Shared Components before 1.9.0 allows context-dependent attackers to execute code through a crafted CATPART file. The CATPART parser inadequately validates file-controlled data and writes beyond the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open the file; resulting code runs in the current process, and malformed input can instead crash the process or corrupt data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
