CVE-2025-1088Network attack vector

Chromium hang via oversized dashboard titles

Published Jun 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 23, 2025

Improper input validation in Grafana before 11.6.2 allows remote authenticated users to hang Chromium via oversized dashboard titles. The dashboard frontend renders excessively long Unicode dashboard titles or panel names without enforcing a safe input length, leaving Chromium unresponsive. Administrative dashboard-editing privileges are required, and the consequence is limited to a browser-side hang.
