Unauthenticated account takeover via hardcoded social-login password
Published Oct 16, 2025 · Updated Oct 16, 2025
Improper authentication in RiceTheme Felan Framework 1.1.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to access social-login user accounts. The fb_ajax_login_or_register and google_ajax_login_or_register functions assign a hardcoded password that remains valid for accounts created through Facebook or Google. Exploitation is limited to existing social-login accounts whose users have not changed that password, enabling account takeover at the victim's assigned privilege level.
