Authenticated SSRF via friend-link URL resolution
Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated Sep 22, 2025
SSRF in MuYuCMS 2.0 through 2.7 allows remote authenticated users to make server-side requests through a crafted friend-link URL. The Add Friend Link handler passes the submitted Link URL to a server-side request without restricting its destination, as shown by DNS resolution. Access to plugin management is required; the demonstrated consequence is an outbound DNS lookup from the server.
