CVE-2025-1077Network attack vector

Unauthenticated Python code execution via crafted Form Properties

Published Feb 7, 2025 · Updated Feb 7, 2025

Remote code execution in IBL Visual Weather's PDS and derived products allows remote attackers to run arbitrary Python code without authentication. The PDS accepts specially crafted Form Properties in unauthenticated requests to invoke an IPDS pipeline whose enabled Message Editor Output Filters execute them as Python. The affected configuration requires IPDS plus those filters; compromise inherits the service account's privileges and can encompass the server.
