CVE-2025-1075

Credential disclosure via debug-level LDAP call tracing

Published Feb 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 13, 2025

Sensitive-data logging in affected Checkmk releases allows local users with administrator access to read LDAP credentials from Apache error logs. With LDAP logging set to Debug and LDAP integration configured, the integration traces each python-ldap function call and its arguments, including usernames and cleartext passwords, into var/log/apache/error_log. Exposure requires LDAP integration, the non-default Debug log level, a login attempt, and administrator access to the site log; the disclosed credentials can then be reused against the directory.
