Unauthenticated data access via faulty REST authorization
Published Mar 23, 2026 · Updated Mar 23, 2026
Improper authorization in WPDeveloper ReviewX 2.2.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to read and modify user and plugin data. The userAccessibility() REST middleware function fails to enforce authorization before protected endpoints handle requests. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the bounded impact is access to user information and plugin configuration rather than code execution or service interruption.
