Server file disclosure via container path traversal
Published Oct 24, 2025 · Updated Oct 24, 2025
Local file inclusion in the PixelYourSite WordPress plugin before 11.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to read server files. The GTM container download action uses the download_container URL parameter to generate a file path without rejecting traversal sequences. WordPress administrator access and a valid action nonce are required; exploitation exposes files readable by the PHP process, including wp-config.php.
