Task hijacking in Webull Investing & Trading App 11.2.5.63 on Android allows local users to present a phishing interface. AndroidManifest.xml retains the default task affinity, allowing a malicious app with the same affinity to place its activity at the root of Webull's task stack. Exploitation requires installation and use of a malicious app on Android before version 11; reopening Webull then displays the attacker's activity, enabling credential theft or deceptive permission requests.
