Authorization bypass in WP Expert Developer WP Private Content Plus 3.6.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to read password-protected content. The global protection check trusts only the presence of the client-set wppcp_global_password_protected_status cookie instead of validating the configured password. The global private-content module and password protection must be enabled; setting the cookie to ACTIVE then exposes protected pages without authentication.
