Task hijacking in Ooma Office Mobile App 7.2.0 through 7.2.2 on Android allows local users to present a phishing activity over the legitimate app. The Android manifest retains its default task affinity, allowing a malicious app with a matching affinity and singleTask activity to occupy the app task. Exploitation requires installation and use of the malicious app; a later Ooma launch can expose entered credentials or induce permission grants.
