CVE-2025-10717Public exploit

Credential theft via default task affinity hijacking

Published Sep 19, 2025 · Updated Sep 19, 2025

Task hijacking in INTSIG CamScanner 6.91.1.5.250711 for Android allows local users to present a phishing activity via a malicious app. The manifest leaves taskAffinity at the package-name default, so an attacker app claiming com.intsig.camscanner can place its activity at the root of CamScanner's task. The attacker must install and launch a malicious app before the victim opens CamScanner; the fake activity can capture entered data or induce permission grants.
