Task hijacking in APEUni PTE Exam Practice 10.0 through 10.8.0 allows local users to present a phishing activity. AndroidManifest.xml leaves taskAffinity unset, so Android assigns the package name and a malicious singleTask activity with the same affinity enters the app task stack. Exploitation requires installation and use of a malicious app before the victim app is opened, enabling capture of credentials or deceptive permission prompts.
