Subscriber-level plugin installation via missing capability check
Published Oct 16, 2025 · Updated Oct 16, 2025
Missing authorization in Cridio Studio ClassifiedPro 1.0.14 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to install arbitrary plugins. The cwp_addons_update_plugin_cb function performs the privileged installation action without checking the caller’s WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access and a nonce exposed by CubeWP Framework are required; the direct consequence is unauthorized server-side plugin installation.
