Production storage access via embedded credentials
Published Apr 3, 2026 · Updated Apr 3, 2026
Hard-coded storage credentials in Gardyn App before 2.11.0 and Cloud API before 2.12.2026 allow remote attackers to access production containers. The mobile application and device firmware embed long-lived storage credentials whose permissions do not adequately restrict end-user access. No authentication or user interaction is required; extracting the embedded credentials is the gate to unauthorized production-storage access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
