Unauthenticated method invocation via variable calls
Published Mar 23, 2026 · Updated Mar 23, 2026
Arbitrary method calls in WPDeveloper ReviewX 2.2.12 and earlier allow remote attackers to invoke PHP methods through a REST request. The bulkTenReviews function uses request-controlled data directly as a variable PHP method name without validating it against an allowlist. Only zero-argument methods or methods with defaults are callable, so information disclosure or code execution requires a suitable method and server configuration.
