Unauthenticated administrative access via retained default account

Use of default credentials in NetBird before 0.57.0 allows remote attackers to gain administrative control through the web interface. The vendor installation script leaves ZITADEL's automatically created zitadel-admin account in place with its default password instead of deleting it after initialization. Instances created by that script are exposed, while Docker deployments are affected only when the administrator neither changes the password nor removes the account; successful access grants control of the VPN management plane.
