Authenticated SQL injection via member ID update
Published Sep 18, 2025 · Updated Sep 18, 2025
SQL injection in SeaCMS 13.0 through 13.3 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify database data through a crafted member ID. The editsave handler in admin_members.php incorporates the posted id value into a MySQL update without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling time-based injection. Administrative session access and knowledge of the randomized administration path are required; the demonstrated result is extraction of the current database name.
