Authenticated command execution via unsanitized system arguments
Published Sep 18, 2025 · Updated Sep 18, 2025
Command injection in D-Link DIR-823X 240126, 240802, and 250416 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands. At /goform/set_server_settings, goahead's sub_412E7C passes terminal_addr, server_ip, or server_port directly to system; build 250416's filter is bypassed with quote concatenation and newlines. Valid management credentials and network access to the web interface are required, after which injected commands run on the router.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
