Database access via unsanitized login email
Published Sep 17, 2025 · Updated Sep 17, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul User Registration and Login 1.0 allows remote attackers to access MySQL data through login.php. The login handler inserts the POST emailid value directly into a SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding, enabling boolean- and time-based blind query manipulation. No authentication is required because the public login endpoint accepts the input, and database access remains bounded by the application's MySQL account privileges.
