CVE-2025-10622Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via client-only command whitelist

Published Nov 5, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Command injection in Foreman 3.12.0 through 3.16.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary operating-system commands. The ct_location and fcct_location settings trust a browser-enforced command whitelist without repeating validation on the server, so crafted values bypass safe-mode rendering and reach command execution. Reaching the settings requires edit_settings permission; by default, only super administrators possess that access, and successful exploitation runs commands on the Foreman or Satellite host.
