Authenticated database access via unparameterized search query
Published Sep 17, 2025 · Updated Sep 17, 2025
SQL injection in itsourcecode.com Online Public Access Catalog 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via search requests. The mysearch.php handler concatenates the POST-supplied search_field as a column name and search_text into a SELECT query without an allowlist or parameterization. A low-privileged application account can trigger boolean-, time-, or UNION-based injection to enumerate and extract database contents.
