GDPR settings modification via missing nonce validation
Published Oct 22, 2025 · Updated Oct 22, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in PixelYourSite 11.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify GDPR settings via forged requests. The adminEnableGdprAjax() handler accepts any _wpnonce value and updates GDPR and consent-integration flags without verifying the nonce. Exploitation requires a manage_pys administrator's active session to load attacker-controlled content that submits the request.
