CVE-2025-1058Network attack vector

Device inoperability via unchecked firmware download

Published Feb 13, 2025 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Firmware integrity failure in Schneider Electric ASCO 5310 and 5350 all versions allows remote authenticated users to disable devices. The firmware-download path lacks an integrity check, so a malicious image is not rejected before the device processes it. Valid low-privilege credentials and network access are required; successful exploitation can corrupt device operation and leave the annunciator inoperable.
