Missing authorization in K7 Computing K7 Security Anti-Malware before 23.0.0.10 allows local users to terminate privileged processes via IOCTLs. The K7RKScan.sys IOCTL handler accepts a caller-supplied process identifier without checking caller authorization, then invokes kernel process termination. Low-privilege local access is sufficient; successful requests can stop administrative or system services and applications, but operating-system-protected processes remain exempt.
