Administrator code execution via path-traversing uploads
Published Sep 26, 2025 · Updated Sep 26, 2025
File upload in AvePoint DocAve 6.13.2, Perimeter 1.12.3, and Compliance Guardian before 4.7.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute files. The affected upload paths accept arbitrary file types without adequate validation and permit traversal-based placement in the server web root. Administrator access is required; successful exploitation executes attacker-supplied content with the application server's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
