Password disclosure via supportsave encryption-key logging
Published Feb 14, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Sensitive-information exposure in Brocade SANnav before 2.3.1b allows attackers to obtain stored passwords from a supportsave. Under certain installation or upgrade error conditions, SANnav writes the encryption key into supportsave diagnostic data. Exploitation requires privileged access to the SANnav database; the exposed key decrypts passwords used by the application.
