Telemetry opt-in via missing nonce validation
Published Sep 27, 2025 · Updated Sep 27, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Saturday Drive Ninja Forms 3.12.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to enable usage telemetry. The maybe_opt_in() handler accepts the telemetry opt-in request without validating a WordPress nonce before changing the plugin setting. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to activate an attacker-controlled request, and the bounded consequence is unauthorized telemetry enrollment.
