Unauthenticated database access via concatenated student number
Published Sep 15, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Student File Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access and alter database data. The index.php login path includes login_query.php, which concatenates the unvalidated stud_no value directly into a SELECT statement instead of binding it as data. Exploitation requires only a crafted unauthenticated POST request and exposes, modifies, or deletes records within the application's MySQL privileges.
