Subscriber-level data deletion via unchecked cleanup action
Published Nov 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Emre Vona WP Fastest Cache 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete WordPress database records. The wpfc_db_fix_callback() AJAX handler accepts an attacker-controlled type parameter and dispatches premium database cleanup without a capability check or nonce validation. Subscriber-level access and premium activation are required; cleanup types can remove revisions, trashed content, spam comments, metadata, relationships, and transient options.
