Code execution via stale SKP parser object
Published Apr 23, 2025 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Use-after-free in KeyShot Studio before 2025.1 allows remote attackers to execute code by opening a malicious SKP file. The luxion_geometry_sketchup.exe SketchUp importer operates on an object without first validating that it still exists during SKP parsing. Exploitation requires a user to open the file or visit a malicious page, and resulting code runs in the context of the current KeyShot process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
