CVE-2025-10450Network attack vector

Instance metadata disclosure via DataReader recovery consistency

Published Dec 16, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025

Information exposure in RTI Connext Professional 7.2.0 through 7.3.0 and 7.4.0 through 7.6.0 allows remote attackers to read instance metadata. The Core Libraries expose alive and disposed DataWriter instance counts when a DataReader enables DDS_RECOVER_INSTANCE_STATE_CONSISTENCY; serialized sample payloads remain undisclosed. The affected application must enable instance-state recovery; security-disabled deployments require no privileges, while secured deployments require low privileges.
