Authenticated command execution via unsanitized upgrade path

Command injection in D-Link DI-8100G, DI-8200G, and DI-8003G 17.12.20A1 and 19.12.10A1 allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands. The sub_433F7C handler for jhttpd's version_upgrade.asp fails to neutralize shell metacharacters in the attacker-controlled path parameter. Low-privilege access to the web management service is required; exploitation runs commands in the appliance firmware context and can read, alter, or interrupt router operations.
