Stored script execution via unescaped article titles
Published Sep 15, 2025 · Updated Sep 15, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in IbuyuCMS 2.6.0 through 2.6.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted article title. /admin/article.php stores the Title parameter without filtering or HTML escaping, so dangerous tags and event attributes remain in the saved article. Administrative backend access is required to plant the payload, and a later View action executes it in the viewer's browser and permits session or page-data theft.
