Database disclosure via concatenated barcode ID
Published Sep 15, 2025 · Updated Sep 15, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Pet Grooming Management Software 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the id field. The /admin/barcode.php handler concatenates the submitted id value into an SQL statement without validation or neutralization, so injected updatexml expressions execute in MySQL. An authenticated administrative session is required; the published proof of concept discloses the database name, database user, and data directory through an error response.
