Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized ID
Published Sep 14, 2025 · Updated Sep 15, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Pet Grooming Management Software 1.0 allows remote attackers to access its database via the ID parameter. The edit_role.php endpoint inserts the POSTed ID value directly into an SQL query without neutralization, permitting boolean-based, time-based, stacked, and UNION payloads. No login is required, so network access to the endpoint is sufficient to read or alter data within the database account's privileges.
