CVE-2025-10385Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Code execution via unchecked username copy

Published Sep 14, 2025 · Updated Sep 15, 2025

Buffer overflow in Mercury KM08-708H GiGA WiFi Wave2 1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through ChgUserId. In sub_450B2C within /usr/sbin/goahead, strcpy copies the supplied username into a fixed 168-byte user-record array without checking remaining capacity. Access to the authenticated web-management endpoint is required; exploitation can execute code or crash the management application.
