Unauthenticated root command execution via unsanitized parameters
Published Sep 12, 2025 · Updated Sep 12, 2025
Command injection in all versions of Evertz 3080IPX-10G allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root over HTTP. The feature-transfer-export.php endpoint builds a shell command directly from attacker-controlled action, filename, and slot parameters without sanitization. The unauthenticated path uses the separately tracked login bypass; successful exploitation permits stream modification, caption alteration, or service interruption.
