CVE-2025-10359Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized macAddr

Published Sep 13, 2025 · Updated Sep 13, 2025

OS command injection in Wavlink WL-WN578W2 Firmware 221110 allows remote attackers to execute commands through a crafted macAddr parameter. The sub_404DBC function in /cgi-bin/wireless.cgi incorporates macAddr into an operating-system command without neutralizing command metacharacters. The CGI endpoint is reachable over the network without authentication or user interaction, so successful injection runs commands with the firmware service's privileges.
